What we did

Starting from a preliminary analysis, Eunoic assessed how AI reads the annual report: readability for people and algorithms, keyword emphasis, and alignment with what investors and rating agencies weight.

A comparative analysis then benchmarked the report against five peers, with E, S and G alignment charts for BMW, Mercedes, VW, Tesla and BASF.

The second cycle extended the work to the combined annual and sustainability report, including German-language peer reports and a redaction pass on the published document.

What they achieved

  • Clear, evidence-based reporting insights the team presented to the board
  • A defensible peer position across five German and global competitors
  • Clear steps to improve how the report reads, for people and for the AI behind ratings and screens
  • A repeat engagement covering the following reporting cycle
“This has been very helpful and gives us strong information to present to the board.”
